La Clio III a été restylée en mai 2009 pour mieux coller aux nouveaux canons esthétiques imposés par la Peugeot 207. Elle adopte une nouvelle face avant (nouveaux phares, calandre et antibrouillards) et une nouvelle face arrière (nouveaux feux, antibrouillards et bas de caisse). Elle gagne environ 4 cm en longueur.
Le break Clio Estate et la sportive RS profitent du même restylage. par cette occasion la RS voit sa puissance passer de 200 à 203 ch. Apparaît une version GT se situant entre les 1,6 16v et la RS. Désormais, deux versions du 1,6 16v sont proposées, avec respectivement 111 et 128 ch. Les versions 3 et 5 portes n’ont désormais plus la même taille. La sportive RS et le break Estate gardent les « anciens » feux arrière.
